Contract Success Calculator

Contract Success Calculator
Devil contracts have a 50% success rate. Failure means instant death. Make sure you're prepared before attempting.
Contract Process
On average, players succeed on their 2nd attempt (statistical expectation).
You need a Surgery Kit from HQ missions first.
Before Attempting
- • Make sure your progress is saved
- • Have backup materials if possible
- • Research which devil you want
If You Die
- • You respawn at HQ
- • No permanent stat loss
- • Gather new Surgery Kit to retry
Contract System Explained
The 50/50 Gamble
When you sacrifice an Arm to a devil, the game performs a 50/50 roll:
- • Success (50%): You gain the devil's contract and abilities
- • Failure (50%): The devil kills you instantly
Material Chain
- Surgery Kit - Obtained from HQ missions
- Arm - Created by using the Surgery Kit
- Contract Attempt - Sacrifice the Arm to a devil at Floor 0
Statistical Reality
With true 50/50 odds, 1 in 4 players will fail twice in a row.1 in 8 will fail three times. Plan accordingly and don't get discouraged by bad luck streaks.
Contract Strategy
Which Devil to Choose?
Each devil offers different abilities. Future Devil is highly recommended for its counter mechanic. Research devil abilities before committing.
Preparing for Failure
Since death is a 50% possibility, always have a backup plan. Keep extra Surgery Kits or know where to farm them quickly after respawning.
Floor 0 Location
Devils for contracts are found at Floor 0 in the HQ building. Use the elevator to reach this level.
Contract FAQ
Can I have multiple contracts?
Contract stacking rules vary. Some contracts can be combined for powerful builds like the Gun Hunter (Snake + Octopus combo).
What happens when I die?
You respawn at HQ with no permanent stat loss. Your Arm is consumed regardless of success or failure, so you'll need new materials to try again.
Is there any way to improve odds?
No. The 50/50 is fixed and cannot be modified. It's pure RNG. The only "strategy" is being prepared for either outcome.
